Niman-Odnum
About
Niman-Odnum (Our World) is about using your creativity and expressing yourself in making clothes, furnitures, and other useful things out of old, recyclable, and reusable materials. The goal is to create a world that is different from what we are living in. Something like a fantasy land or a world from a different galaxy.
Soon we'll be organizing events like parties, art exhibitions, novelty shops etc. to give boost to our imaginative and noble cause.
Contest Rules
1. Contest is open to all Filipino citizens regardless of age, gender, affiliation, or status.
2. Registration period is from May 15 – October 15, 2010. All registration shall be made through this blog site by filling up the entry form and paying the registration fee of P100 per entry.
3. Each participant can register a maximum of two (2) entries per category only. In case all entries of the same participant win any of the prizes, the prize of higher value shall be awarded. The remaining prize shall be given in favor of the succeeding winner, in descending order.
4. Entries shall be brought on the contest day itself, at the expense of the participant.
5. Concept should be original, using at least 60% recyclable and/or reusable materials. Use of logos and brand names, foul language and violent actions are grounds for immediate disqualifications.
6. Entries should not be submitted or to be submitted to any other competition, owned by other entity, nor subject to any copyright issue.
7. All Entries submitted will not be used for any commercial purposes other than the marketing collaterals, documentation and publication of “Niman-Odnum” on future events with full acknowledgment of creator’s name without any monetary compensation or anything of monetary value, if used. The creator retains full copyright/intellectual property right over the submitted entry.
8. There will be three (3) winners per category. Judges’ decision is final.
9. Violation of any above-stated rules and/or non-compliance of the same shall be a ground for automatic disqualification.
10. Organizing Committee and creative consultant and their relatives up to the third civil degree of consanguinity and affinity are disqualified from joining the competition.
All participants will be given a Certificate of Participation signed by the Judges, Organizing Committee Head and Creative Consultant.
